The update utility is designed to download and save updates and modules of the Kaspersky Lab’s applications into a separate folder.
With the help of the utility you can download updates for selected Kaspersky Lab’s applications installed either in your network or at a home PC. The utility has a function for saving downloaded updates and autopatches in a local folder, a network folder connected as a disc to the computer file system, or onto a flash-carrier.
All settings of the utility are defined in the configuration file. In order to configure and launch the update utility which is run under Windows operating system, there is a GUI available for use. Updater utility interface is available in the following languages: Chinese, English, French, German, Hungarian, Italian, Polish, Russian, and Spanish.
The update utility and articles in this section are provided in the test mode!
Attention! Updating through the separate update utility is recommended to use only if computers with installed Kaspersky Lab’s products do not have Internet connection. This update method does not provide an instantaneous delivery of the released updates and consequently does not keep applications in the actual state.
You can ask questions concerning how to use the utility and report errors in its work on the Kaspersky Lab’s forum in the Universal Updater subforum.
