If you upgraded Windows 8 to Windows 8.1, on first system startup an adaptation process of Kaspersky Anti-Virus 2014 will be launched. In the meantime, protection will be paused.
After the adaptation is complete, protection will be resumed. Kaspersky Anti-Virus 2014 will scan all the files that will have been accessed since the first Windows 8.1 startup.
