How to transfer a Kaspersky application license from one device to another

To transfer a license between computers, you will need to remove it from one device and then add it to the Kaspersky application on another device. See the instructions below.

For Kaspersky Basic, Standard, Plus, Premium

  1. Make sure that your subscription appears in your My Kaspersky account. See the Online Help page for instructions.
  2. Remove the application from your old device. See the Online Help page for instructions.
    If the device doesn’t work, move on to the next step.
  3. Sign in to My Kaspersky. Go to Subscriptions, select your application and click Download.
  4. Install the application. See the Online Help page for instructions.

When the installation completes, the application will automatically connect to your account and your subscription will be activated.

For Kaspersky Security Cloud, Kaspersky Internet Security, Kaspersky Anti-Virus, Kaspersky Total Security, Kaspersky Small Office Security

  1. Find your activation code. For instructions, see this article.
    If you haven't found the activation code but your application is activated, connect it to My Kaspersky and look up the code in the Subscriptions tab of My Kaspersky. See this article for instructions.
  2. Remove the Kaspersky application from the old device. See this article for instructions.
    If the device doesn’t work, move on to the next step.
  3. Download the application you have been using from the Kaspersky website to a new computer.
    If you do not remember which application you were using, but you have an activation code, use the instructions in this article.
