How to reset your password

If you forgot your password for your My Kaspersky account, you can restore access to your account by resetting your password.

To reset the account password:

  1. On the sign-in page click the Forgot your password link.
  2. Enter the email address you specified when creating your account.
  3. Click Continue.

If the email address specified is registered on the website, a message containing a link for resetting the password will be sent.

  4. Click the link in the message.
  5. In the window that opens, type a new password and confirm it.

The password must contain at least 8 characters that include at least one numeral, one uppercase and one lowercase letter, and no spaces. The password must not duplicate one of your recent passwords. See Password requirements.

  6. Enter a security code if you have set up two-step verification for your account.
  7. Click Continue.

The new password for signing in to My Kaspersky is saved.

If you did not receive a message, check your spam folder or that the email address you entered is correct, and try again. If you still did not receive a message, the email address you specified is probably not registered on the website. You can contact Customer Service. A password reset can lead to Kaspersky Safe Kids data loss! To save your settings and statistics, get at least one of your child's devices connected to the Internet and signed in to Kaspersky Safe Kids before you reset your password.
