If you want to install a Kaspersky Lab 2011/2012 products on your computer, but you have installed another Kaspersky Lab product or third-party antivirus solution, then you are strongly recommended to delete all other installed antivirus solutions before you begin to install a Kaspersky Lab 2011/2012 products.
If you have not uninstalled a third-party anti-virus solution before the Kaspersky Lab 2011/2012 products installation, then a third-party anti-virus solution will be detected by the Setup Wizard and it will be deleted automatically. If third-party software cannot be deleted automatically, you will be asked to uninstall it manually.

After you have uninstalled an application using the standard means of Windows, some folders and files of uninstalled applications may remain in your system. Check up the Program Files folder. If you find any folders or files of uninstalled applications, delete them.
