In order to save hardware info to a text file, perform the following actions:
Do not connect the USB drive to the computer until the corresponding instruction appears on the screen. In case if you connect your USB drive before the corresponding instruction, it will be impossible to save the required info.
If you do not have an USB device, you will not be able to save hardware info to a text file. In that case you can write down the required info manually or make a photo of the screen.
