Update source (and regional settings)

Possible update sources are: Kaspersky Lab servers, Kaspersky Security Center 9, an FTP ot HTTP server, or a shared folder.

Information  If you specify several update sources, the application will attempt accessing them in descending order until it encounters an available one. It will then download updates.

To configure update sources and regional settings:

  • Open the Settings tab of the main application window.

  • Select Scheduled tasks > Update in the left frame.

    • Click the Update source button in the right frame.

  • Open the Settings tab of the main application window.
