Kaspersky PURE 3.0 scans data transferred by the SSL protocol.
To check the authenticity of web servers and to protect the SSL data exchange channels between the web server and the user computer, Kaspersky CRYSTAL 3.0 uses a self-signed electronic certificate. If while visiting a possibly infected web resource its certificate is defined by the program as untrusted, then Kaspersky PURE 3.0 either terminates the connection or suggests to accept/deny the certificate.
Automatic installation of the Kaspersky PURE 3.0 certificate functions only when working with the web-browsers Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox and Google Chrome. For the web-browser Opera the certificate should be installed manually.
