It is necessary to add a key file to a mobile device to activate Kaspersky Endpoint Security 8 for Smartphone installed on it.
Application activation is carried out by adding a key file into a Kaspersky Administration server policy for mobile devices. When a mobile device synchronizes with the Administration server, the key file will be transmitted to the mobile device along with the policy.
Unless activated within three days, the application automatically switches into the limited functionality mode. When in this mode, the application stops synchronizing with the Administration server automatically. Therefore when the 3-day period is over, you should first carry out a manual synchronization with the Administration server to be able to activate the application.
How to activate Kaspersky Endpoint Security 8 for Smartphone:
Open the Administration console and make sure that the given mobile device has appeared in the Kaspersky Administration Server logical network and has been relocated into a separate administration group;
Open the policy applied to the given mobile device and go to the License tab;
Click the Edit button and indicate a correct key file;
If this setting is unlocked, no license will be added to the mobile devices.
Click OK.
If the policy has never been applied to the given mobile device, or you do not want to wait for a synchronization instance, you should start Kaspersky Endpoint Security 8 for Smartphone on the mobile device and execute a manual synchronization with the Administration server.
