How to configure iChecker and iSwift use in Kaspersky Endpoint Security 8 for Windows?

  • The iChecker and iSwift are used by File Anti-Virus and scan tasks.

    iChecker and iSwift in File Anti-Virus

    In order to enable / disable use of the iChecker and iSwift technologies in work of File Anti-Virus, perform the following actions:

    • Open the main application window and go to the Settings tab.

    • In the left part of the window select Anti-Virus Protection -> File Anti-Virus.

    • Click on the Settings button in the Security level section.

    • On the Additional tab enable / disable use of iChecker and iSwift.

    • In the File Anti-Virus window click on the OK button.

    • In the main application window click on the Save button to apply changes.

    iChecker and iSwift in scan tasks


    In order to enable / disable use of the iChecker and iSwift technologies in scan tasks, perform the following actions:


    • Open the main application window and go to the Settings tab.

    • In the left part of the window expand the Scheduled tasks branch.

    • Select the required scan task:

      • Full Scan

      • Critical Areas Scan

      • Custom Scan

    • Click on the Settings button in the Security level section.

    • On the Additional tab enable / disable use of iSwift and iChecker.

    • Click on the OK button in the window.

    • In the main application window click on the Save button to apply changes.
