There are several ways of uninstalling Kaspersky Endpoint Security 8 for Windows:
Using the Setup Wizard.
In command line prompt.
Remotely via Kaspersky Security Center 9.
Using group policies.
Using the removal utility - kavremvr.exe.
Uninstalling via the Setup Wizard
In order to uninstall Kaspersky Endpoint Security 8 for Windows using the Setup Wizard:
Start the Setup Wizard:
Click Start > All programs > Kaspersky Endpoint Security 8 for Windows > Modify, repair or remove.
Or go to Start > Control Panel > Programs and features > select Kaspersky Endpoint Security 8 for Windows > click Modify.
This will start the Setup Wizard.
Select the option Remove.
The second Setup Wizard step prompts saving certain application objects, such as:
Activation data – information about key file or activation code.
Backup and Quarantine objects – backup copies of deleted or disinfected objects and objects probably infected with malware.
Operational settings of the application – current configuration of all protection components.
Click Next in the Saving objects window to start uninstalling the application.
Reboot the computer after completely uninstalling the application.
Uninstalling in command line prompt
You can uninstall Kaspersky Endpoint Security 8 for Windows in command line promptin an interactive or silent mode.
Uninstalling remotely via Kaspersky Security Center 9
Kaspersky Security Center 9 allows remotely uninstallingKaspersky Endpoint Security 8 for Windows. Uninstalling proceeds using a group task for selected computers.
Uninstalling using group policies
You can install/update/uninstall Kaspersky Endpoint Security 8 for Windows in a centralized manner using group policies in a domain network.
Uninstalling using the utility kavremvr.exe
This utility comes handy in case of an error when an attempt to uninstall Kaspersky Anti-Virus by standard operating system tools did not uninstall it or uninstalled only some part of it.
