How to get scan report in Kaspersky Security for Mac?

In order to resolve the problem appeared, Kaspersky Lab Technical Support is required to receive a detailed report of the scan process performed by Kaspersky Security for Mac. During scan, all results are registered in the report.

In order to get a detailed scan report, perform the following actions:

Step 1. Enable the option of logging non-critical events

In order to register all events of Kaspersky Security for Mac, perform the following actions:

  1. Open the main application window.
  2. In the right upper corner, click the Preferences button.

  1. In the Preferences window, go to the Reports tab.
  2. In the Reports section check the box Log non-critical events.

  1. Close the Preferences and the main application windows.

Step 2. Run Full Scan

Run a Full Scan task in Kaspersky Security for Mac.

Step 3. Wait until the process is completed or ends with an error

Step 4. Export scan report to a file

In order to export an update report of Kaspersky Security for Mac, perform the following actions:

  1. Open the main application window.
  2. In the left upper part of the window, click the Reports button.

  1. In the left part of the Reports window select Virus Scan and find the latest scan task executed.
  2. In the lower part of the Reports window, click the Export button.

  1. In the Save window in the Save as field enter a unique file name.
  2. In the Save window in the Where field select the folder into which you want to save the report file.
  3. Click the Save button.

  1. Close the Reports: Kaspersky Anti-Virus and the main application windows.

Step 5. Archive the created file

Add the created file to the archive with the unique name.

Step 6. Create a request to Kaspersky Lab Technical Support

Create a request to Kaspersky Lab Technical Support via the My Kaspersky Account service. Describe your problem in all details and attach the created report.

Step 7. Disable the option of logging non-critical events
