Why does the indicator in the upper part of the main application window of Kaspersky Small Office Security 2 for File Server change its color?

Applies to Kaspersky Small Office Security 2 for File Server

On the upper part of the main application window of Kaspersky Small Office Security 2 for File Server you can find the indicator that shows your computer's current protection status. There are three possible values of protection status: each of them is indicated with a certain color. Green indicates that your computer’s protection is at the correct level, while yellow and red indicate that there are various security threats.

In order to view detailed info about computer's protection status, perform the following actions:

  1. open the main application window
  2. on the upper part of the main application window, click on the indicator or button Details/Fix it!
  3. on the Protection status - Kaspresky Small Office Security window, go to the Status tab
  4. on the Status tab, you will see the list of found problems on the computer. You can fix problems or hide messages:
    1. in order to eliminate the problem, click on the corresponding button (for example, Resume all)
    2. in order to hide the required message, select it and click on the Hide message button
    3. in order to enable display of hidden messages, select Some messages are hidden and click on the Restore hidden messages button
  5. once the required actions are performed, click on the Close button in the Protection status - Kaspersky Small Office Security window
  6. close the main application window.
