Trusted zone in Kaspersky Small Office Security 2 for File Server

Trusted zone is a list of objects which are not scanned by the Protection Center functional module from Kaspersky Small Office Security 2 for File Server. By default, trusted zone includes only one objects svchost.exe. You can create your trusted zone using different settings. Trusted zone in Kaspersky Small Office Security 2 for File Server allows managing:

  • Exclusion masks 
  • Trusted applications.

In order to open and manage the Trusted zone window, perform the following actions:

  1. Open the main application window
  2. In the right upper corner of the window, click the Settings link
  3. In the upper part of the Settings window, select Protection

  1. In the left part of the Settings window, click Threats and exclusions
  2. In the Exclusions section click the Settings button

  1. In the Trusted Zone window, create a list of objects which will not be scanned and list of trusted applications
  2. To save the changes click the OK button
  3. In the Settings window, click the OK button
  4. Close the main application window.
