How to enable/disable the iChecker and iSwift technologies use in Kaspersky Small Office Security 2 for Personal Computer?

Applies to Kaspersky Small Office Security 2 for Personal Computer

In Kaspersky Small Office Security 2 for Personal Computer you can control the iChecker and iSwift technologies use in the following components:

  • File Anti-Virus
  • Full Scan
  • Quick Scan
  • Objects Scan

In order to enable / disable the iChecker and iSwift technologies, perform the following actions:

  1. open the main application window
  2. on the upper right hand corner of the window, click Settings

  1. on the Settings window, perform the following actions:
    • In the Protection section in the left part of the window select File Anti-Virus.
    • In the right part of the window in the Security level section click the Settings button.
    • On the File Anti-Virus window, go to the Additional tab
    • In the Scan technologies section, check/uncheck the iSwift technology and/or iChecker technology
    • Click OK

or

    • Select the required scan task on the Scan tab: Full Scan, Quick Scan or Objects Scan
    • In the right part of the window in the Security level section, click on the Settings... button
    • on the Full Scan/Quick Scan/Objects Scan window, go to the Additional tab
    • in the Scan technologies section, check/uncheck the iSwift technology and/or iChecker technology
    • click OK
  1. On the bottom right hand corner of the Settings window, click OK

  1. Close the main application window.
