In order to create the list of allowed applications, perform the following actions:
In the Applications section on the Allowed tab, click the Add link.
In the Allowed software window, select the executable file of the required application by clicking the Select... button.
Select one of the items from the drop-down menu:
select Browse... to select an application installed on your computer.
select Applications... to select the running at the moment application.
The Name field will be automatically filled in, but you can enter the required name manually.
To limit the application usage on days, check the Limit usage on the selected days box.
To make the application accessible for the user, click on the Allow button and select the required time and days in the table.
To make the application unaccessible for the user, click the Block button and select time and days in the table.
Check the box Limit daily operating time to specify operating time when the application will be accessible.
If you specify the restrictions for the user, then the application usage will be logged automatically. In this case the Log usage option is unavailable. If there are no resctrictions for the application usage, then the Log usage option is accessible. In this case you can specify whether the application usage will be logged.
After you have configured the required options, click on the OK button.
