Kaspersky Anti-Virus Mobile 6.0 is designed to provide the anti-virus protection of smartphones. The product offers the following functionality to users: 

• interception and scan of all incoming objects, transferred by means of wireless connections (infra-red port, Bluetooth), EMS and MMS messages, during synchronization with a personal computer and loading files through a browser;
• interception and scan of files, before their opening; 
• interception and scan of programs, before their installation; 
• interception and scan of files, before their copying; 
• scan of memory card on their installation; 
• on-demand or scheduled scan of the smartphone's file system for viruses or other malicious programs; 
• scan of hidden and system folders; 
• possibility to scan separate folders and files; 
• an option to scan the smartphone’s ROM;
• an option to unpack and scan the content of Sis-archives, and also ZIP-archives for smartphones working under Symbian OS version 7.0s or higher; 
• display of the information on anti-virus databases; 
• possibility to request information about the detected viruses; 
• possibility to move infected files to Quarantine; 
• display of the real-time protection mode; 
• on-demand or scheduled update of anti-virus databases via GPRS-Internet, WAP, from a local folder or through the smartphone's web-browser; 
• possibility to set up a schedule for tasks performed by the product; 
• the user is provided with built-in help; 
• possibility to intercept unwanted SMS and MMS messages; 
• possibility to create "Black" and "White" lists of SMS and MMS senders;
• activation via HTTP The product has a user-friendly and intuitive user interface.

The functions of interception and filtering of MMS messages are available only for the smartphones on Symbian OS.
