Using Password Manager from Kaspersky PURE 2.0 you can easily add your accounts to the password database.

How to save an account from a web page?

You can create a new account from your Internet browser. In order to do this, perform the following actions:

  1. Open the required website in a browser supported by Password Manager.
  2. Enter in the authorization field your login and password.
  3. When you click the button to continue authorization, the window of Password Manager that will ask you whether you want to add a new account to the Password Database appears.
  4. Click on the Add account button.

Your account is saved in the password database.

How to save an account via the module interface?

In order to create a new account for the required website using the main window of Password Manager, perform the following actions:

  1. Right-click the Kaspersky icon in the right bottom corner of the screen.
  2. In the context menu select Add -> Web Account.

  1. In the Add Account window, perform the following actions:
    • In the Name field, enter the account name to display in the module (for example, My Facebook account).
    • In the Link field, manually type the required web address (for example, http://facebook.com).
    • In the Login field, type the user name you enter to authorize to the service.
      • You can specify your login description. In order to do this, click on the Add Description button next to the Login field and enter the required description (for example, my facebook account). Descriptions help to find the required account via the Password Manager search.

    • If you check the Automatic authorization box, Password Manager will enter your authentication data and sign in the web site automatically once you open it.

    • In the Password field, enter your password.
      • By default, the password will not expire. If you wish to specify the password expiry date, click on the Password never expires link and select Password expires from the open menu.
      • In the appeared field, enter the required date when the password expires.

  1. Click on the Add button.

The account has been added to the password database.
