Kaspersky PURE 2.0

It is recommended to use the Safe Run mode for launching suspicious applications as well as trusted applications the vulnerabilities of which can be exploited by criminals to access data on your computer. You can run an application in the safe environment as well as use the safe desktop.

Safe Run for Applications opens in the full-screen mode and represents a copy of the main desktop with all file system objects. You can create a list of applications that will run automatically when you start Safe Run for Applications.

You can switch to the main Desktop while working in the Safe Run mode by three methods:

• from the main application window
• from the application's context menu
• from the pop-up toolbar (available only while working in the Safe Run mode)

How to switch to the main Desktop from the main application window

In order to switch to the main Desktop from the main application window, perform the following actions:

1. open the main application window
2. on the bottom part of the main application window, click on the up-arrow button to open the menu
3. select Safe Run for Application from the list of components
4. on the Safe Run for Applications window, click on the Main desktop button.

In order to switch to the main Desktop using the application context menu, perform the following actions:

1. right-click the icon in the right lower part of the screen
2. select Return to the main desktop from the context menu that will open.

How to switch to the main desktop from the pop-up toolbar

In order to switch to the main Desktop using the pop-up toolbar, perform the following actions:

The pop-up toolbar is available while working in the Safe Run mode only.

• if the toolbar is not fixed, then:
1. move the mouse cursor to the upper part of the screen (the pop-up toolbar appears)
2. click the  button on the toolbar

• if the toolbar is fixed on your Desktop, then click the  button on the toolbar.
