How to manage the Quarantine tab in the Statistics window

  • The Quarantine tab of the Statistics window in Kaspersky Anti-Virus version 6.0 keeps the list of quarantined objects, their size, the date when the object was added, full path to the object.

    Actions with quarantined objects are the following:

    • Delete – deletes an object from the Quarantine and from the hard drive 
    • Restore – restores an object to its initial place on a hard drive 
    • Add – adds/locates a new object into Quarantine
    • Scan all – scans all quarantined objects for viruses 
    • Help – displays reference for the Quarantine tab of the Statistics window
    • All reports – switches to the Reports tab of the Statistics window 
    • Save as – saves all reports to a file

    The following actions are available for a selected object from the context menu (except the above mentioned actions): 

    • Send – sends a file by e-mail to be researched by Kaspersky Lab virus experts 
    • Search – searches by words and phrases in the list of the quarantined objects 
    • Select all – selects all quarantined objects on the Quarantine tab 
    • Copy – copies all information from the selected line of the list of objects to the clipboard.
