Using the Mugshot feature of the Anti-Theft component, you can get a photo of the person who is using your device.

The feature is available under the following conditions:

  • The device must have a front camera.
  • The Mugshot feature is turned on and set up in the Anti-theft settings on the device. Th set up the Anti-Theft features, run the initial setup. For instructions on how to do so, see this article.

To take pictures of a person who is currently using your device, send the Mugshot command through My Kaspersky. The pictures will be sent to your account and the device will be locked. To unlock the device, enter the secret code.

After entering the secret code on different Android versions, the app behaves in the following ways:

  • On Android 4.Х and 5.1, device lock settings will be reset
  • On Android 5.0, the device lock settings are changed to the PIN code which is the same as for the Kaspersky Internet Security for Android settings.
