If Kaspersky Endpoint Security is installed on your computer and used for file/disk encryption, Kaspersky Lab specialists strongly recommend that you refrain from using it simultaneously with other vendors' file encryption solutions.

Before you install Kaspersky Endpoint Security and activate encryption, please make sure that other software with the same functions is not used on your enterprise network. If such products are found, it is necessary that you decrypt all files and/or disks and uninstall the third-party software before you apply encrypting policies in Kaspersky Endpoint Security.

The reason for these recommendations is incompatibility of the different software solutions in terms of encryption algorithms, which, in some cases it may result in data loss.
