How to configure scheduled updates in Kaspersky Security 9.x for Microsoft Exchange Servers

This article refers to:

  • Kaspersky Security 9.2 for Microsoft Exchange Servers Maintenance Release 2 (version 9.2.39.0);
  • Kaspersky Security 9.1 for Microsoft Exchange Servers Maintenance Release 1 (version 9.1.42.0);
  • Kaspersky Security 9.0 for Microsoft Exchange Servers (version 9.0.129.0).
 
 
 
 

To configure scheduled database updates, do the following:

  1. Open the Administration Console of Kaspersky Security 9.x for Microsoft Exchange Servers.
  2. Select the Protection Server or the profile.
  3. Click the Updates node.
  4. Expand the section Update databases of Anti-Virus and DLP Module or Anti-Spam databases update.
  5. Select the Run mode:
    • Periodically. Specify the period between the updates in minutes/hours/days.
    • Daily. In the field on the right select the exact local time set on the server.
    • On selected day. Select the days and specify the time when the databases will be updated.

  1. Click Save.
