“Cannot connect to the VPN provider” error in Kaspersky Secure Connection

When you get the Cannot connect to the VPN provider error when trying to establish a secure connection: Check the

  • Internet connection. The application cannot function without the Internet connection.  
  • Check if VPN connections are allowed by your service provider.  
  • If you use a proxy server, check the connection settings.
If the error persists, submit a request to Kaspersky Lab Technical Support via the My Kaspersky portal, and include a detailed description of the issue.
