Kaspersky Secure Connection for Android checks the status of a wireless network (Wi-Fi access spot) based on KSN and a set of other criteria, such as whether a vulnerable encryption protocol or a common network name (SSID) are used. Based on this information, Kaspersky Secure Connection determines whether or not the network is secure.

Allow the app to send you notifications, otherwise Kaspersky Secure Connection for Android will not be able to warn you about unsecure Wi-Fi networks and offer to establish a secure connection. See this article for instructions on configuring notifications on devices running Android 8.0 and later.

To secure a Wi-Fi network, tap Yes in the notification.
