You can access avp.com from the application installation folder or by specifying the full path to the executable file. If the path to avp.com has been added to the %PATH% system variable, you do not need to specify the full path to it.

To display all available tasks, run the STATUS command with no additional parameters.
Possible profile values:
Displays statistics on a running or competed scan or update task.
avp.com STATISTICS <Updater|ODS>
This command restores files from the backup copy.
avp.com RESTORE [/REPLACE] <file name>
avp.com RESTORE /REPLACE C:\eicar.com
This command exports settings from the agent.
avp.com EXPORT <file_name>
<file-name> — the file to which the settings will be saved. The the extension .txt to save the file as a text document.
avp.com EXPORT settings.cfg

This command imports settings to the agent.
avp.com START< File name>] /login=<"login"> /password=<"password">
<file name> — the file from which the settings will be imported Only binary format is supported.

Displays information about the license received from the SVM.
avp.com LICENSE /check
This command exits the application and terminates all processes of the agent.
avp.com EXIT /login=<login> /password=<password>
avp.com EXIT /login="1" /password="1"
Displays information about the connected SVM.
avp.com SVMINFO
This command retrieves and configures SVM template types.
avp.com POOLTYPE [PVM|NPVM]
If additional parameters are not set, then the command displays the SVM’s template type.
