You can use the following command line commands for managing the Light Agent for Linux:
Displays the syntax suggestions and the list of available commands.
lightagent help [command]
lightagent help scan
lightagent help
Scans files for malicious code.
lightagent SCAN [<files>][/@:<filelist.lst>][/i<0-4>][-e:a|s|b|<time in seconds>][--R[A]:<report_file>][--C:<configuration_file>]
If you do not specify the objects, the application will scan all files of the protected virtual machine.
lightagent SCAN /R:log.txt /MEMORY /STARTUP /MAIL "C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\My Documents" "C:\Program Files" C:\Downloads\test.exe
lightagent SCAN /MEMORY /@:objects2scan.txt/C:scan_settings.txt /RA:scan.log
By default, the command displays the scan settings, scan status in % and scan results.
Runs a database update task for the agent through the SVM.
lightagent UPDATE [/R[A]:<report_file>][/C:<configuration_file>]
lightagent UPDATE /RA:avbases_upd.txt
The command displays the following information:
Enables and disables tracing of the agent.
lightagent TRACES [on <trace_level>] [off]
lightagent TRACES --CLEAR TRACES --COPYTO <UNC path> [--OVERWRITE]
lightagent TRACES on 500
lightagent TRACES off
Displays statuses of tasks.
lightagent STATUS [task]
Available tasks:
Displays statistics on a running or competed scan or update task.
lightagent STATISTICS Updater
The command displays the following information about the task:
Restores files from the backup copy.
lightagent RESTORE <id> [/REPLACE]
lightagent RESTORE 123456789 --REPLACE
The LICENSE command displays licensing information received from the SVM:
lightagent LICENSE
The command displays the following information about the license:
Displays the SVM information.
lightagent SVMINFO
The command will display the following information about the connected SVM:
Displays the list of files.
lightagent LIST <list_name>
Available list name: backup.
lightagent LIST backup
The application shows the following information about the files in the backup storage:
lightagent delete <id>
<id> — the ID of the object to be deleted from the backup storage.
lightagent delete 123456789
Starts tasks.
lightagent START [task]
To display all available tasks, run the START command with no additional parameters.
Stops running tasks.
lightagent STOP [task]
To display all tasks, run the STOP command with no additional parameters.
Displays the information about the product.
lightagent PRODUCTINFO
The command displays the information about connection to VIIS.
lightagent VIISINFO
The command will display the following:
Exports protection settings
lightagent EXPORT <file_name>
<file-name> — the file to which the settings will be exported.
lightagent EXPORT settings
Imports protection settings
lightagent IMPORT <file_name>
<file-name> — the file from which the settings will be imported.
lightagent IMPORT settings
Release of antivirus database updates (required to protect your computer/server/mobile device)
Providing technical support over phone / web
Release of patches for the application (addressing detected bugs)
