How to restrict applications' access to the webcam with Kaspersky Internet Security 19 for Mac

Applications installed on your Mac can secretly use your web camera for malicious purposes.  With Kaspersky Internet Security 19 for Mac, you can block unauthorized access to your web camera for applications.  

The access will be blocked for all installed applications. It is not possible to block webcam access for specific applications. 

To block access to the camera: 

  1. In the main window of Kaspersky Internet Security 19 for Mac, click Privacy.

  1. In the Block webcam line, click Block.

Blocking access to the video stream of web camera using Kaspersky Internet Security 19 for Mac 

  1. Restart running applications or restart your Mac.
