Patch M for Kaspersky Total Security version 20.0.14.1085 was released on May 20, 2022.
Patch N improves the stability and optimizes the performance of the application.
To install the patch:
- Run the database update of Kaspersky Total Security. For instructions, see this article.
- When the update completes, restart your computer.
To check if the patch was installed successfully, open the application and click Support in the lower-left corner. You will see the full version number of the application with letter n added at the end.
If the patch wasn't installed, wait for a few days. The patch is distributed gradually.
To complete the patch installation successfully, computer reboot is required. If you don't reboot the computer in seven days after the application receives the patch, the icon in Windows task bar will turn red.
Patch M
Patch M for Kaspersky Total Security version 20.0.14.1085 was released on September 23, 2020.

In patch J:
- We have added the support of Microsoft Edge based on Chromium.
- Now you can hide a pop-up that prompts installation of the Kaspersky Protection extension in Windows 7 and 8. To hide the notification, click Don't ask again.
- Several application issues were fixed.

Patch G for Kaspersky Total Security version 20.0.14.1085 was released on December 9, 2019.
In Patch G:
- The application now consumes less memory resources of your computer.
- We have simplified the process of installing the application on top of the older version: the screen Previously installed version of the application detected was removed.
- We have fixed several errors:
- Detailed information about the website wouldn't appear after hovering over Kaspersky Protection icon in the search results window.
- Wi-Fi networks wouldn't appear in the Network properties window of the Firewall component. Network type (public, trusted or local) was sometimes determined incorrectly.
- New applications could not be added to the Trusted, Restricted or Untrusted group in the Application Control component.
- The Backup task would stop running if the data prepared for backup included a folder with access denied.
- The Rarely used section would sometimes include applications that were in fact often used.
- Updating the application would sometimes caused earlier events to disappear from the Detailed reports section.
- We have fixed several minor application issues.
Patch F
Patch F for Kaspersky Total Security version 20.0.14.1085 was released on November 25, 2019.
In Patch F:
- We have fixed the vulnerability which allowed removing third-party extensions from Google Chrome.

Patch Е
Patch E for Kaspersky Total Security version 20.0.14.1085 was released on October 23, 2019.
With patch E:
- We've added:
- support for Microsoft Windows 10 version 1909
- a new application icon — Midori Kuma

- a feature allowing you to ignore Notification Center recommendations
- The program installation package will now include Kaspersky Password Manager.
- You will now receive a report on the program operation during the previous license term along with the expiring license notification.
- We've optimized the certificate verification process. The websites will now load faster.
- We've fixed:
- error in graphics driver occurring during the installation of the program
- error which caused malfunctions when working with Microsoft Office
- error which prevented some Wi-Fi networks from appearing in the network properties
- error which caused the damaged components notification to appear upon installing the program
- critical errors affecting installation of patches
- We have fixed a number of minor application issues.
Patch D
Patch D for Kaspersky Total Security version 20.0.14.1085 was released on September 5, 2019.
Patch D fixes the vulnerability which could be used for acquiring unauthorized permissions in Windows.
To install the patch:
- Run a database update in Kaspersky Total Security. See this article for instructions.
- Restart the computer once the updates have been installed.
The patch will be installed. To check if the patch was installed successfully, open the application window and click the Support icon in the lower-left corner. The information about the application version will be available in the window that opens. The version number will have the letter d added.
Patch C
Patch C for Kaspersky Total Security version 20.0.14.1085 has been released on July 29, 2019.
Patch C includes the following improvements:
- We have introduced the new logo to the interface of Kaspersky Total Security.
- We have detected and fixed the issues related to JAR files and user variables of the SystemRoot and WinDir environment.
- For Microsoft Edge users: we have enhanced the speed of secure connections check by excluding trusted websites from the scope.
- We have fixed the following issues:
- The TDSSKiller tool sometimes failed to start if Kaspersky Total Security was running.
- The System Watcher component blocked the portable version of Puttytray in some cases.
- The Application Control component could ignore the Do not scan all traffic exclusion for selected applications.
- Kaspersky Total Security could skip backup of folders located on a network drive.
- Safe Money blocked access to www.alpha.gr in some cases.
- We have fixed a number of minor issues, some of which have been detected with the help of our users.
Patches A and B
Patches A and B for Kaspersky Total Security version 20.0.14.1085 have been released on July 24, 2019.
Patches A and B include the following improvements:
- Enhanced protection when working with HSTS websites.
- The Safe Money icon will no longer be created on your Desktop. Now you can open the Safe Money component through the application interface.
- We have replaced the link in the Support window with the link to the new Community. You can use it to ask questions about the application and search for information.
- We have fixed a number of minor issues, some of which have been detected with the help of our users.
