Known limitations
- When a USB Wi-Fi adapter connects for the first time, the application will be unable to detect that the device connects to an insecure network, until the operating system is restarted.

- After reinstalling the application, Trusted Applications mode is disabled, even if it was enabled before the reinstallation.
- When upgrading from a previous application version, the data for proxy server authorization are not saved if they were detected automatically. The application will prompt you again for data for proxy server authorization.
- In some cases, when signing in to My Kaspersky from the application window, the user name entry field displays an old email address. When signing in to My Kaspersky for the first time after changing your user name, you need to specify your new email address if you have changed it.
- Parental Control may block games according to their content with a delay.
- Information about applications blocked by Parental Control, which were started before Kaspersky Internet Security, will not be included into Parental Control reports.
- When you upgrade the application from the earlier version, the displayed computer use timer restarts. However, the period of computer use before the upgrade will be added to the new time count for calculating the time when the computer must be blocked.
- Certain types of objects from the category Legitimate software that can be used by criminals to damage your computer or personal data are not processed from the My Kaspersky portal. These threats must be processed on the computer.
- On detecting some remote administration tools, password managers, or user activity monitoring tools, the application may show two notifications prompting the user to select an action for one and the same object.
- If the Always scan encrypted connections check box is selected, the application will scan encrypted connections even if you have paused protection.
- On certain websites, the application may block the download of additional pages in pop-up windows or frames. To fix the issue:
- Click the settings icon in the lower-left corner of the window.
- In the settings window, go to the Additional section and select Network.
- Clear the checkbox Inject scripts into web traffic to interact with web pages.
- After you enable the Anti-Banner component, banners on pages that are already opened in your browser are not blocked until you refresh the pages.
