Kaspersky Internet Security for Mac protects your Mac in full if its license is active and the Kaspersky Security browser extension is installed and enabled.

We do not recommend that you turn protection off. Without protection, your Mac can get infected and there is a risk of data loss.

Protection is disabled if:

  • The application icon in the upper-right corner is inactive The inactive icon of Kaspersky Internet Security 19 for Mac
  • The main window shows a notification “Protection is disabled”.
