How to enable or disable Self-Defense in Kaspersky Total Security 19

The Self-Defense component prevents Kaspersky Total Security from being blocked or removed by other applications. Self-Defense is enabled by default, but it may sometimes be necessary to disable it in order to troubleshoot issues with Kaspersky Total Security.
Disabling Self-Defense prevents some features of Kaspersky Total Security from working properly and lowers the overall level of system protection.
To enable or disable Self-Defense:
- In the main window of Kaspersky Total Security, click .
- To learn how to open the main application window, see this article.
- Select Additional → Self-Defense.
- Select or clear the Enable Self-Defense checkbox.
- Click Continue.
Self-Defense in Kaspersky Total Security will be enabled or disabled.
