Subscription restrictions for Kaspersky applications in Google Play in India

Google Play has introduced restrictions on subscription renewals in India due to the new Reserve Bank of India eMandate notification.

Starting early May, trial period has become unavailable for users in India who buy subscriptions through Google Play. This applies to the following Kaspersky applications:

  • Kaspersky Internet Security for Android
  • Kaspersky Security Cloud for Android
  • Kaspersky Password Manager for Android
  • Kaspersky Safe Kids for Android
  • Kaspersky Secure Connection for Android

If the subscription was purchased in the Indian version of Google Play in early may and later, auto-renewal of your subscription will be disabled. You can check the auto-renewal status in your Google Play account. For instructions, see Google Play Help.
