To set up the certificate verification on a remote device running Linux:

  1. Go to the remote device running Linux and copy the /etc/xrdp/cert.pem certificate.
  2. Convert the certificate from the .PEM text format to the .DER binary format by using the command:

openssl x509 -outform der -in cert.pem -out cert.der

  1. Upload the resulting CERT.DER file to the Kaspersky Security Management Suite policy via Kaspersky Security Center Web Console using the instructions.
  2. In the Kaspersky Security Management Suite policy, enable the trusted mode.
