Applies to Kaspersky Anti-Virus 8.0 for Lotus Domino

You can configure Kaspersky Anti-Virus 8.0 for Lotus Domino settings either via GUI or by editing the notes.ini configuration file.

You can modify the configuration file the following way:

  1. Open the Domino server configuration file notes.ini
  2. Edit the values as necessary and save the changes
  3. Restart the Domino server.


WarningThe values configured in the notes.ini file are not synchronized with the settings configured in the Kaspersky Anti-Virus 8.0 for Lotus Domino GUI. The values configured in the notes.ini file have a priority over the settings configured in the GUI.

If the server fails to update from the source you have specified, Kaspersky Anti-Virus attempts to connect to another update source – the last successful update source or the Kaspersky Lab update servers.

Log file name. You can assign any value to this setting. The file will be located in the kavcommon/logs/ logs folder. The default file name is .log_N, where N – is the serial number.

If you assign the name myfile to this setting, the event log file name will be myfile.log_N.

KAVLogFileSize 

2000 KB 

Log file size in kilobytes. A 5% deviation is allowed for the set size to optimize the speed.

Number of log files.
