How to save messages from the Backup in Kaspersky Security 8.0 for Linux Mail Server

This article concerns Kaspersky Security 8.0 for Linux Mail Server Maintenance Pack 3 (version 8.0.3.30).
 
 
 
 

You can save messages from the Backup in Kaspersky Security 8.0 for Linux Mail Server via:

  • The web interface. See the Online Help page for instructions.
  • The command line. See the instructions below.

How to save a message via the command line

Run the following command:

/opt/kaspersky/klms/bin/klms-control --backup --save <Imessage_ID> [--rule-id <rule_ID>] [-f|--file <file_name>]

Where:

  • --rule-id —  is the ID of the rule that processed the message.
  • -f|--file — the name of the file the email message will be saved to.

The message will be saved on the computer’s hard drive in the the specified file.
