On 5 September 2012 Kaspersky Lab introduced commercial version of Kaspersky Security 8.0 for Linux Mail Server. Full version number is 8.0.0.429.



Kaspersky Security 8.0 for Linux Mail Server provides content filtration and antivirus and antispam protection of incoming and outgoing mail.

Kaspersky Security 8.0 for Linux Mail Server can be run on Linux and FreeBSD systems, and can be used on mail servers with high load.



Main features:

  • Antispam and antimalware scanning of incoming and outgoing mail. Detecting and countering the targeted attacks (Zeta Shield tm ).



  • Content filtering of mail by attachment name, type, size.



  • Processing the mail according to sender/receiver group rules.



  • Using Microsoft Active Directory and OpenLDAP users/groups in mail message filtering rules.



  • Configuring settings and managing the application via standard OS tools (command line) or web interface.
