Kaspersky Endpoint Security 10 for Windows establishes connections with hosts outside the local network when performing an antivirus database update task or getting Kasersky Security Network statistics. If proxy server is used in the local network, configure proxy server settings in Kaspersky Endpoint Security 10 for Windows.

You can also configure proxy server settings in the scheduled task settings. Go to Scheduled tasks → Update.
The following proxy server settings are available:
If a proxy server requires authentication, and a user name and a password are specified incorrectly or not specified, a dialog window appears.
If the authentication is successful, the application keeps the user name and password and applies them for next connections. Otherwise, Kaspersky Endpoint Security 10 for Windows keeps prompting to enter a user name and a password. The option is enabled by default.
