Self-Defense is a component that protects Kaspersky Endpoint Security 10 for Windows against the attempts of malware to block or delete the product.

Self-Defense prevents:

  • Changing and deleting product files, including operating files, antivirus databases, quarantine, and trace files.
  • Editing or deleting Kaspersky Endpoint Security 10 registry keys.
  • Stopping the processes of Kaspersky Endpoint Security.

If Microsoft Windows Vista 64-bit is installed on your computer, protection against changing and deleting product files and registry keys is also available.
