To enable the test mode for data synchronization, follow these steps:
The Import and synchronization window opens.
Data synchronization test mode will now be enabled. All records of changes made by application users will be displayed in the synchronization request history, but won't be recorded in the application database.
Before disabling test mode, make sure that all application users are correctly synchronized with Active Directory accounts and placed in the proper groups after automatic assignment rules have been applied. To do this, view the synchronization request history.
You can't disable test synchronization mode for Azure AD and the local AD service at the same time. If you want to start basic synchronization mode with Azure AD, you need to enable test synchronization mode for the local AD service.
To switch from the test mode of Active Directory synchronization to the main mode, follow these steps:
The Import and synchronization window opens.
Synchronization mode with Active Directory will be changed to Primary. All data obtained from synchronization will be recorded in the application database.
Synchronization in the main mode will be carried out the first time the synchronization script is run after closing test mode. For regular data synchronization, the script must be configured to run on a schedule.
