Kaspersky Battery Life for Android
Stopping restarted apps
Some apps restart after you stop them and continue to reduce the battery life. You can still stop these apps.
- Tap the notification about the restarted apps.
- Select the apps you want to stop and tap Stop restarted apps. If accessibility permission is required, grant it by following the instructions on the screen.
- Tap OK.
Kaspersky Battery Life will stop the restarted apps. By default, these restarting apps will be stopped automatically until you start them manually. Kaspersky Battery Life does this to prevent apps from consuming your battery in the background without your knowledge. However, some apps may still restart after Kaspersky Battery Life tries to stop them.
On devices running Android 4.1-6.x, you can change this default setting in >
Settings > Other > Attempt to stop restarting apps.
If you turn off the Attempt to stop restarting apps switch, then, if an app restarts after you stop it, Kaspersky Battery Life will notify you about the restart so you can try to stop this app again.
