Kaspersky Endpoint Security Cloud lets you centrally protect and manage devices by using security profiles.
A security profile is a named collection of settings of Kaspersky applications. This collection of settings ensures security on computers and mobile devices added to Kaspersky Endpoint Security Cloud. A single profile (see the figure below) contains the settings for Windows, Mac, Android, and iOS devices. After a security profile is applied to a device that has been added to Kaspersky Endpoint Security Cloud, the settings of the Kaspersky application on the device are replaced with those specified in the profile.
Single security profile
Using security profiles, you can perform the following actions:
You can assign a security profile only to users and groups of users. The security profile assigned to the device owner is applied to the device.
Only one security profile can be assigned to a user or a group of users.
Kaspersky Endpoint Security Cloud features the Default security profile configured by Kaspersky experts. The Default profile is automatically applied to a device after that device is added to the list of devices of Kaspersky Endpoint Security Cloud, if the device owner has not been assigned a different profile.
Each security profile has a power. The security profile power shows how well the profile protects your users' devices. The profile power depends on whether the protection components are enabled in the profile settings and on whether you use Kaspersky Security Network in your workspace. You can manage the profile power on a single page.Page top
