Features of event processing by Kaspersky CyberTrace Service

This section outlines the way in which Kaspersky CyberTrace Service processes incoming events.

Kaspersky CyberTrace Service receives and sends events by using TCP. Events are encoded in UTF-8.

Kaspersky CyberTrace Service processes special characters in incoming events as follows:

• Kaspersky CyberTrace Service treats the line feed character (0x0A) as the delimiter between events.

  Thus, the text before a line feed character and the text after it belong to different events.

• Kaspersky CyberTrace Service ignores the carriage return character (0x0D).
