Managing tags of an indicator

On the Indicators page, you can manage indicator tags by assigning existing tags, adding new tags, or unassigning tags. To access this page, you need to switch to the Data management mode.

To manage tags of an indicator:

1. Click the value of the required indicator.
2. On the displayed Indicator details page, scroll to the Tags section.

Assigning existing tags to an indicator

To assign tags to an indicator:

1. Click the Assign existing tags button.
2. In the list of tags, select the check boxes next to the tags that you want to assign to the indicator.

   The list contains only the tags that already exist in Kaspersky CyberTrace. If you want to add a new tag, see the instruction below.

3. Click the Apply button.

The selected tags are assigned to the indicator.

Adding a new tag to an indicator

To add a tag, you must have administrator privileges.

To add a new tag to an indicator:

1. Click the Add tag button.
2. In the Add tag dialog that opens:
   • Specify the tag name. The tag name must be 1 to 128 characters long. It can contain Latin letters, digits, hyphens (-), and underscores (_). You cannot use the name of an existing tag for the new tag.
   • Select the tag importance.
   • Keep the Assign tag to this indicator check box selected.

     If you clear this check box, the tag will be created but will not be assigned to the selected indicator.

3. Click the Add button.

   The new tag is created and assigned to the indicator.

Unassigning a tag from an indicator

Unassigning tags from indicators does not delete those tags from Kaspersky CyberTrace.

To unassign a tag from an indicator:

1. Click the (Unassign) button next to the tag that you want to unassign.
2. In the confirmation window that opens, click the Unassign button.

The selected tag is unassigned from the indicator.
