Update the application

You can download the latest version of the application from https://go.kaspersky.com/Anti-ransomware-tool.html. During the update, the Setup Wizard uninstalls the previous version of Kaspersky Anti-Ransomware Tool for Business and copies your application settings automatically.

If you update from the Beta1 or Beta2 versions, your settings will not be copied automatically. Please also make sure that the application folder has not been moved from the default installation path and is not read-only so that the Setup Wizard is able to copy your settings.

To update Kaspersky Anti-Ransomware Tool for Business:

1. Download the latest version of the application.
2. Open the Kaspersky Anti-Ransomware Tool for Business setup file.

   The Kaspersky Anti-Ransomware Tool for Business Setup Wizard opens.

3. In the window that opens, read the End User License Agreement, the Privacy Policy, and the Supplemental Statement on Data Processing and do one of the following:
   • If you agree to the terms of these documents, confirm this by selecting the appropriate check boxes.
   • If you do not agree to the terms of these documents, cancel the installation of Kaspersky Anti-Ransomware Tool for Business and do not use the application.
4. Wait for the installation of Kaspersky Anti-Ransomware Tool for Business to complete.

   The application prompts you to restart the computer.

5. Click Restart now to finish the update.

   After you restart the computer, Kaspersky Anti-Ransomware Tool for Business is updated.
