Assigning static DNS addresses
You are advised to assign static DNS addresses if you are not configuring Kaspersky Anti Targeted Attack Platform in test mode.
To assign static DNS addresses:
- In the Select action - Resolver window, select no.
- Press ENTER.
This opens the DNS settings configuration window.
- Select any setting.
For example: Search list.
- Press ENTER.
This opens the window for entering static DNS addresses.
- In the Search list field, enter the DNS suffix that you want to use in Kaspersky Anti Targeted Attack Platform.
For example: example.com.
- In the Primary field, enter the IP address of the primary DNS server in IPv4 format.
- In the Secondary field, enter the IP address of the secondary DNS server in IPv4 format.
- Click Ok.
This will open the DNS settings configuration window displaying the assigned static DNS settings.
- Verify that the DNS settings are correct.
- Select Continue.
- Press ENTER.
The Setup Wizard proceeds to the next step.
