Kaspersky Endpoint Agent has predefined settings that determine the impact that Kaspersky Endpoint Agent has on the performance of the local computer under scenarios of information retrieval and interaction with the Central Node component.
If the version of Kaspersky Anti Targeted Attack Platform program on Central Node servers is incompatible with the version of Kaspersky Endpoint Agent (previously known as Endpoint Sensors) installed on corporate LAN computers, the functionality of Kaspersky Anti Targeted Attack Platform can be limited: IOC scanner on computers with Kaspersky Endpoint Agent as well as managing tasks and policies created on computers with Kaspersky Endpoint Agent can be unavailable from Central Node servers.
Software requirements for installing Kaspersky Endpoint Agent
Kaspersky Endpoint Agent only works on computers that have one of the following operating systems installed:
Kaspersky Endpoint Security including Endpoint Sensors version 3.6 supports fewer operating systems than KES version 11.1.1 without a built-in Endpoint Sensors program.
Kaspersky Endpoint Security including Endpoint Sensors component version 3.6.1 supports fewer operating systems than KES version 11.2 without a built-in Endpoint Sensors program.
To use Kaspersky Endpoint Agent with Kaspersky Security for Virtualization Light Agent in a virtual infrastructure, one of the following hypervisors must be installed (depending on the virtualization platform):
