Deleting Network Anomaly Detection rules

You can delete network anomaly detection rules. However, you cannot delete rules with a last run status of New, Waiting, Waiting for data, or In progress. If there are rules with these statuses among the selected rules, a message to this effect is displayed. To delete such rules, first stop the rules.

To delete the status of a Network Anomaly Detection rule:

  1. In the application web interface, go to the Intrusion detection section, Network Anomaly Detection subsection.
  2. Select the rules that you want to delete.
  3. Click Delete.

    This opens a confirmation prompt window.

  4. In the prompt window, confirm deletion of the rules.

The rule is deleted.
