Editing dictionary settings

When changing the settings of a dictionary, you can change its name, description and/or values of its items.

If the dictionary is already being used in a Network Anomaly Detection rule, the new values of dictionary elements will be applied only during the next run of the rule.

To change the dictionary settings:

1. Select the Settings section, Dictionaries subsection in the window of the application web interface.
2. Select the dictionary you want to change.

   The details area is displayed in the right part of the web interface window.

3. Click Edit.
4. Edit the settings as needed. For a description of the settings, see the instructions for adding a dictionary.

The dictionary settings are modified.
