Viewing information about a PCAP file

To view information about an uploaded PCAP file:

1. Select the Retrospective traffic analysis section in the application web interface.

   This opens the table of PCAP files.

2. In the table, select the file for which you want to view information.

   This opens a window containing information about the PCAP file.

The window contains the following information:

• Size is the size of the file.
• Status is the status of the file. Possible values: Uploaded, Processing, Resolved, Error.
• Upload method is the method used to upload the file. Possible values: Manually, Auto.
• Uploaded is the file upload date.
• First packet is the date and time when the first network packet recorded in the file was transmitted.
• Last packet is the date and time when the last network packet recorded in the file was transmitted.
• Description is the description of the file. This field is displayed if a description was added when the file was uploaded.
